Build Lean Body Muscle
Once you have removed the excess fat from your waist and other parts of your body, you can then start to build muscle.
In order to build up your muscles , you need to do two important things. Firstly you need to exercise your muscles with resistance training- ie. weights. You will need to do this weight training on a regular basis, somewhere between 2 and 5 times a week. The more you do the better the results. Lifting weights, whether it be bench pressing or cable flyes for your chest or squats for your legs (a good whole body exercise actually)- the body's reaction to all of it is to micro tear the muscles - thus allowing them to stretch and grow.
The second part of growing your muscles is to eat the right foods. Muscles need protein to grow and plenty of it. Foods rich in proteins are tuna, all shellfish, salmon eggs, chicken, beef steak, turkey to name but a few.You can of course help your muscle building program with a protein shake- such as whey powder which is very high in protein, about 75g per 100g is protein, which if you compare to say tuna (24g per 100g)- it is very high and can aid your results more quickly. Dont worry about whey - it is totally natural and is a sub product of milk- ie. curds and whey.
