Take Two Inches off your waist in one month
.................how hard can it be?

 

You are what you eat!

An old cliché but so very true. Every piece of food or drink you consume plays its part in shaping you- literally. So how hard can it be to shave just two inches off your waist size? Well of course that depends on your circumstances and indeed your will power. And we are talking about keeping those two inches off for good, not just a fad diet and pile it back on. It is hard but only if you make it. I cut my waist from 34" to less than 32" in one month.
 
I also reduced my body fat from 26% to 19 % in that same month and not forgetting lowering my blood pressure in the process. I have in fact continued with these great results over the continuing months but my fastest gains were in month one. You can drop two inches off your waist size too - in just one month.

Now let’s get back to 'food' because that’s where the problem is and indeed the cure. I didn't drop my waist size by hours and hours in the gym (I do go to the gym and of course it helped- I’ll come to that later) but 75% of belly fat loss is what you put in your mouth. Yes I know people say that they have a slow metabolism and that they don’t eat much- but who are these fat people kidding!

You get fat by eating more calories than you burn. If you eat too much and indeed eat all the wrong foods and do very little activity then you will get fat. Indeed you will continue to get fatter.

The fat around your belly contributing to your waist size is in fact some of the most dangerous fat. This visceral fat hangs around your stomach and other organs and causes many people to also have bad posture as they compensate their 'poor'posture by arching their back. I make no apology for calling fat people- well- FAT. However I can see how average people can in this modern world put on weight so easily.

Modern convenience food, such a pre packed meals, takeaways, burgers etc are just full of high calories, high fat, and sugars yet they offer very little in nutrients for our bodies. What they do offer though is a bigger waistline.


Food Diary

Ok so where do you start, how did I get rid of two inches off my waist in one month you may be asking. Well, a good place to start is to do a little exercise, not that kind- not yet anyway. This exercise is a food diary. I want you to diary everything you eat over a 5 day period. Trust me this will be worth it to you. But you must be honest with yourself. You must enter every meal, every drink, every chocolate bar, and every piece of food that enters your mouth. I must tell you however that it has been proven that most people tend to not list everything, they forget or indeed lie about it- but that will not help you- list everything.

The reason I ask you to do this diary is to show you - physically on a piece of paper- how much you are really eating. I guarantee you will be amazed! If you’re really honest about the diary - you won’t have that fat persons usual excuse any more of - I don’t eat much!

No Fad Diet

So it’s mostly about what we eat- our daily diet plan. And by that I mean food intake that is sensible but not a fad diet or juice diet- these just do not work long term. Just cutting your food intake ( hence why I want you to produce a food diary) by say 15% will make a difference to your waistline.

By the way the good news is that visceral belly fat is some of the first fat you lose if you reduce your calorie intake. There is nothing better than being able to fit into trousers that you threw into the back of the wardrobe in disgust - I know - I’ve done it. In fact now I need a belt for many pairs- it’s a great feeling.
